April Jeep Run

Went out on a “Newbie” run with the Edmonton Jeep Club yesterday, along with my son Davis, and my brother Ken.  This was my 3rd run with the club – and definitely the largest turnout that I had seen.  Apparently it was the largest EdmontonJeep run ever!  The beautiful weather was certainly welcomed – had the top down on the run, and managed to get an early start on my sun-burnt nose!

ejc-apr-11-2009__d5DarrenK from the EJC forum took a pile of shots and posted them up over on Photobucket.  Thanks for the pix Darren!  Awesome shots!

amcjeep-thumbCyborg also posted a pile of photos on his blog – awesome shot of Pete’s CJ!

And here are some of the shots that my son, my brother, and myself took!

I've been working with the web for over 15 years, working on websites for myself, the federal government, and many other companies over the years. Other interests include woodworking, cooking, and going places with the Jeep that I bought a few years ago. The Jeep has lead to other interests including amateur radio, welding, and also wrenching - learning how to maintain and repair my Jeep :^)

  1. Well, I was going to leave the mud on for a couple days – but caved in and made a nice mess of a wash bay! In the process I discovered that not only did I christen my Jeep with some tree striping, but I also succeeded in creating one more excuse to get an aftermarket front bumper – by putting a nice dent in one corner :D I suspect that I’ll be able to pop it out, but we’ll see ;)

  2. You too eh!!! You’ll see in some of the pics that I did the same thing to my bumper (Filthy Dirty Jeep Girl Green JK) – I’m pretty sure they’re made of sugar cause I cant remember hittin anything very hard (with the bumper anyways :P ) … funny thing is I had ordered one last week anyways lol

  3. What a beautiful day of wheeling! Couldn’t have asked for any better way to break in the camera.
I couldn’t believe the ammount of rigs we had out – I think everyone had a blast.

PS: Thanks for the link to my gallery
