Was pretty excited when I saw this come up for sale – and almost immediately arranged to check it out…
The trailer is a Canadian Army surplus unit – an M101. The trailer has a little bit of surface rust – nothing too severe at all. I intend on cleaning up the rust, and then painting the trailer, probably a primer gray initially, and bedlining the interior.
Eventually, I might look at color matching the trailer to the Rubicon, as well as matching up the wheels and tires. Pulls like nothing is there when empty – will see once I get a load in there! Might see its first trail adventure soon too – hopefully make it out to the Cadomin area next month for a weekend possibly!
