Spring Club Run to Cadomin

This past weekend we had 7 Jeeps meet up in the Cadomin area for a run. Weather sucked, but the Jeeps loved it – well, most of them anyway ;^)

One of the guys managed to get a log jammed up into his under-carriage, and damaged the wiring to the fuel pump – causing his jeep to stop running as he was working his way across a watery mud hole. It took a while to sort the issue out, and get a trail fix working so he was able to get out. I winched him back back out of the mudhole and onto ‘dry’ land so that the work could begin. While the Jeep was worked on, others in our group managed to get the water draining out of the mud hole, and removed lots of logs that were gradually exposed as the water level drained.

I've been working with the web for over 15 years, working on websites for myself, the federal government, and many other companies over the years. Other interests include woodworking, cooking, and going places with the Jeep that I bought a few years ago. The Jeep has lead to other interests including amateur radio, welding, and also wrenching - learning how to maintain and repair my Jeep :^)
