Transcend – great coffee, AND Waffles!

2   cups all-purpose flour 1   tbsp sugar 4   tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp cinnamon 1/4 tsp salt 2 eggs 1 3/4 cups milk 5 tbsp applesauce 1 tbsp canola oil 1 tsp vanilla extract Mix all dry ingredients together in a large bowl. Add each of the wet ingredients to the dry while beating together.

This is the first recipe that we tried from the Waring owners manual.  It turned out very good – the waffles are nice and crispy, and very tasty! The night before (or at least 8 hours before baking): 1/2 cup lukewarm water (around 105 deg. F) 1 tablespoon granulated sugar 2 1/4 tsp. active dry
